Lodged between France and Spain in the Pyrenees, Andorra is famous for its fantastic ski slopes. Pal is no different, with lots of opportunities for both beginners and experts. A small skiing village of just 200 inhabitants Pal is part of a bigger skiing region, Vallnord, which includes Arinsal and Arcalis.
As well as skiing and snowboarding on 65 km of slopes, there are plenty of other winter activities to try. Sled dog rides, ice diving, snow buggy rides and snowshoeing are just some of the activities on offer in Pal. And if you’re travelling to the region in the summer months there is still a wealth of outdoor pursuits to enjoy. There’s BMX riding for all abilities at the bike park, paintballing, archery, golf, climbing, canyoning and horse riding. You can also take a helicopter ride over the mountains to take in the incredible scenery from above or visit the Sant Climent de Pal, an 11th Century Romanesque church.
La Massana, the main town linked to Pal, has some great après ski options and a cable car up to the village. Elsewhere in this pretty town and the rest of the region, you’ll find cosy mountain restaurants serving hearty and authentic local cuisine with fresh local produce.
Whether you’ll be thrill seeking or taking it easy on your holiday to Andorra, hoppa can arrange your Pal transfers from Barcelona Airport. With reliable drivers and a range of transfer options, we’ll have you on the slopes in no time at all.
