Cala Millor

A fantastic destination whether you’re looking for activities, nightlife or just the opportunity to relax and enjoy your holiday, Cala Millor is growing increasingly popular with travellers from Britain. A popular attraction is its golden sandy beach typical of Majorca, and you can also make the most of the many shops, cafés, bars and restaurants dotted throughout the town itself. With so much to enjoy make sure you book your Cala Millor transfers with hoppa. We’ll get you from Palma de Majorca Airport without the fuss so you can spend more time enjoying everything on offer here.

Beautifully stretched along the eastern coast of Majorca is spacious resort of Cala Millor. Established in the 1930’s, Cala Millor started off with only one hotel, the Hotel Eureka. Since then, the resort town has blossomed into one of the most popular destinations on the island. The wide pearly beaches slope down into the transparent waters that fade from a pale aqua to a deep cobalt blue. The beach here extends for six kilometres between two headlands that keep the waters smooth and tranquil. The gorgeous beach has also won the prestigious Blue Flag Award. Spread out on a beach lounger or relax under a straw sunshade, there is plenty of room for everyone. If you’re feeling active, take a class at the windsurfing school and be the envy of all your friends. There are glass-bottom boat tours that hug the coast and give guests a chance to unwind and swim in the deep, cool waters.

Behind the beach is a bustling promenade where cyclists and roller-skaters dash between the pedestrians. High-rise hotels line the adjacent streets, along with a variety of shops selling souvenirs, restaurants that cater to every palate, and bars that come alive after dark. Between the dozen or so bars and the several nightclubs and discos, the nightlife here is active but doesn’t reach the same decibel as the southern party beaches. Cala Millor’s most prominent demographic belongs to families and couples looking for a lively, but not crazy, beach holiday atmosphere.

For fun in the sun away from the beach Cala Millor offers a range of activities for nature lovers and families alike. The two hundred hectare Punta de n’Amer headland is a protected nature reserve. The park and its ancient watchtower, the Castell de n’Amer, is a forty-five minute walk from the city centre. On the outskirts of town there is the Auto Safari Zoo and a karting track to keep the little one’s entertained.

Three of the most highly rated hotels in Cala Millor are: the Protur Playa Cala Millor Hotel, the Hipotels Hipocampo Palace and the SENTIDO Castell de Mar. No matter where you stay in Cala Millor, you will be able to savour the sunshine and enjoy all the perks of this stunning seaside resort.

Spend your days soaking up the sunshine on the soft golden sands of the beach, and relax and the little ones paddle in the cool shallow waters of the sea. Sheltered from the winds of the other resorts it’s ideal for those wanting to make the most of the warm Majorcan sunshine. There are plenty of water sports to try as well, and when it’s time for lunch head to the many cafés and enjoy an al fresco meal of Spanish favourites mixed with delicious international flavours.

Every moment of your holiday counts so pre-book your Cala Millor airport transfers with hoppa, and have piece of mind from the moment you land at Palma Airport. With hoppa, you know, your driver will be waiting and that you paid a fair price for the most reliable Cala Millor airport transfer there is. Now, all you have to do is arrive happy.
