Cala Vinas is located just a short walk away from the significantly more hectic and infamous resort of Magaluf. The area is renowned for its soothing tranquillity, and is located on the south west coast of Majorca. The resort only has a small amount of bars and restaurants but its lack of noisy establishment is part of what draws so many people here. It is home to a beach of fine white sand and clear blue waters, as well as a handful of gift shops and a supermarket. Its proximity to Magaluf is an obvious draw for anyone wishing to stay in a quiet area not too far away from the action.
The beach is accessed via steps and features a number of palm trees offering valuable shade. A number of the area’s properties offer exceptional coastal views. A bus service is available, but those wishing to explore the island freely may wish to hire a car. Leading destinations like Portals Vells, Cala Falco and El Mago, can easily be reached by car and are home to a host of boats and yachts. El Mago is a popular spot for naturists, whilst the quiet, unspoiled Cala Falco is ideal for anyone wishing to sunbathe in one of the island’s less hectic coastal zones. The beach is popular with snorkelers and scuba divers.
If you wish to base yourself in a quiet area without being forced to travel too far to experience something more energetic, Cala Vinas could well be the perfect Mallorcan match for you.
Serenity seekers: Cala Vinas is the perfect location for anyone wishing to escape the fast pace of Magaluf. However, its proximity to the resort makes dipping in and out of the area a simple task.
