La Fabrica de Chocolate
The Spanish version of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory is situated in the nearby town of Llucmajor. With a café, a chocolate shop stocking delicious treats or souvenirs to take home, baking and chocolate making workshops, and a great soft play park for the kids, it’s well worth a visit.

Mondrago National Park
Head south for just less than an hour to this area of outstanding natural beauty, and the best beaches on the island. Set in the region of Santanyi, you’ll find turquoise lagoons, orchids scattered through oak forests, and a great selection of hiking and biking trails amongst the park’s 785 hectares. A special bird protection area, you have the chance to spot more than 70 species of bird. It’s a slice of Mediterranean paradise.

Talaiots Capocorb Vell
The town of Llucmajor is the site of well-preserved ruins of a prehistoric village dating from 650 – 540 BC. The village, Capocorb Vell, is one of the largest in Majorca and has over 28 ruined buildings and five talaiots (Bronze Age megaliths), some still standing as tall as 7 metres. It’s a fascinating insight into the archaeology and ancient past of Majorca.
