In recent weeks, British tourists have been in the news for falling foul of foreign laws while on holiday. Something as innocuous (to us) as chucking some over-the-counter painkillers into your suitcase can be a big no-no when heading to some countries. Unfortunately, pleading ignorant to these laws isn’t a get out of jail free card, so the best thing to do is to be prepared for the differing laws before you go.

Luckily, our new infographic is on hand to point you in the right direction, offering up some of the laws and rules in popular holiday destinations that you may not be aware of. So next time you’re heading off to Thailand, remember that it’s illegal to buy alcohol outside of certain hours and that when visiting ancient Greek monuments, you may need to re-think your choice of footwear.

Wow this is very educational as we see more and more arrest overseas due to not knowing the laws as the saying goes when in Rome do as the Romans do so follow the rules as you travel and also if you could add the things not to eat and certain medical illness and disease that s cumulatively one can catch and how to prepare and prevent
