It’s easy to book with us. Simply fill out your holiday details, including the dates you’re travelling and the number of people who will be with you, in the search bar above. From there, you can choose a Faro shuttle bus or take your pick from our selection of private vehicles. Whichever you choose, you can enjoy an easy, hassle-free service with us.
If you require special assistance, want to bring any additional or unusual luggage, or you require an adapted vehicle for a motorised wheelchair, just fill out what you need in the ‘Anything we can help with?’ box and we’ll do the rest. If you have a foldable wheelchair, let us know in this section too so that your driver can help.
Once you’ve completed your booking, you’ll be sent an e-ticket. This includes everything you need to know about your Faro Airport transfers, from timings to where you need to go to find your driver. We recommend you print this off as this is also the document you’ll need to show to your driver as proof of your booking.
Whether you’re hopping on a shuttle bus or you’ve booked a private transfer, you’re generally allowed to bring one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage along each. This will be confirmed when you book, but it’s worth checking before you travel to make sure your vehicle will be suitable for the luggage you have.
When you choose one of our low-cost Faro shuttle bus transfers, you’ll be sharing the journey to your holiday accommodation with other holidaymakers and there will be drop-off points on the route. If you opt for a private vehicle, you and those in your party will be the only passengers and you’ll travel directly to your accommodation.
There are also slight differences when you are being picked up from Faro Airport. Private transfers include scheduled pick-up times, so you’ll know from looking at your e-ticket what time your driver will be expecting to meet you at.
Shuttle bus passengers may find that there’s a waiting time of up to 45 minutes. This is because you’ll be joined by travellers arriving on different flights.
When you arrive at Faro Airport, head to the arrivals hall where you’ll be greeted by a hoppa representative. They’ll be holding a sign that either displays your name or ‘hoppa’. Show them your e-ticket and they’ll take you to your shuttle bus or private transport. Always check the information on your ticket as these meeting details can change.
Sometimes our drivers can be slightly delayed due to traffic or other reasons. If you can’t see them when you get to the arrivals hall, give the number on your e-ticket a call to get an update. The team at the resort will ask for the reference number on your ticket and then they should be able to tell you where your driver is.
We’ll always do our best to make sure you’re able to get to your holiday accommodation, even if there’s a slight interruption to start with. If your flight’s delayed or you’re held up because of your luggage, your driver will wait for 45 minutes, however we suggest you call the number on your e-ticket just in case. A new driver might be sent to you for delays of over 45 minutes.
For any delays that go over three hours, you’ll have to rearrange your transfers with us. You can then claim through your travel insurance.
This airport opened in 1965 and tourists have been making the Faro to Algarve trip ever since. Seven million sun-seekers flock to this region each year, making Faro Airport especially busy in the summer months. By booking your transfer with hoppa, you can avoid the long queues for taxis from Faro Airport during the busy periods.
While you’re there, you’ll be able to look around the many shops and enjoy food at the cafés in the airport, as well as grabbing some bargains at the duty-free store. You’ll find lots of last-minute souvenir ideas here, too!
We want to make your journey back to the airport seamless. That’s why we’ve created a pick-up system that means you know exactly where you need to be before your flight home.
For a return trip to Faro Airport via private transfer, your driver will arrive at your holiday accommodation at a set time, which you’ll find on your e-ticket. We always ask you to be ready 15 minutes before your pick-up time just to make the pick-up process as easy as possible.
We’ll also text you with a reminder of the time you’ll be collected if you decide to opt into receiving SMS messages from hoppa when you make your booking.
If you’re getting a Faro shuttle bus to the airport, you’ll be given your pick-up time 24 hours before your departure time. We’ll either send you a text message detailing your pick-up time if you’ve opted in to receive SMS messages, or you’ll be able to check online.
We always advise you get to your pick-up point at least 10 minutes before your bus arrives. If your bus is late, call the emergency number on your e-ticket and we’ll find out where your driver is.
