Nassfeld

Sonnenalpe Nassfeld (1,552m/5,092ft), some 7km/4.5mi west of Hermagor and runs southwards through the Trögelbach valley, has 100 ski slopes with over 110km of ski pistes and boasting a sun record that eclipses the Northern Alps by over 100 hours per winter, and by night it offers the longest flood-lit night ski piste in Europe. The slopes vary in difficulty in height above 1,500m/5,000ft.
Gartnerkofel at a height of 2,195m/7,202ft, to the South-West rises the Rosskofel at a height of 2,239m/7,346ft, which commands extensive views.
