Arrivals
Austin-Bergstrom runs one consolidated Barbara Jordan Terminal serving every airline — American, Delta, United, Southwest, Spirit, JetBlue, Alaska and the international carriers. Domestic and international arrivals exit through the same baggage claim on the lower level; international travellers clear customs first, which can add fifteen to thirty minutes at peak. Everything funnels to the same ground transport island opposite the main exit doors.
Where to meet your driver
Your hoppa driver waits at the Barbara Jordan Terminal ground transport island, kerbside opposite the main exit, holding a sign with your name in a vehicle with the plate matching your e-ticket. Take the main baggage claim exit and walk straight across to the island — not to the parking garage.
Forget the South Terminal
First-time visitors often look for the old South Terminal, where Allegiant and Frontier used to arrive. It has been closed since September 2024, so every AUS passenger is now at Barbara Jordan regardless of airline. No pickups happen at the South Terminal.
Delays & Driver Info
1
Free waiting time
60 minutes after your scheduled landing for domestic arrivals, plus a 30-minute buffer for international arrivals via MEX or YYZ to cover customs queues and the walk from baggage claim to the kerb.
Flight delayed or diverted?
Your driver tracks the flight in real time, so they already know. Real-time tracking covers gate reassignments and diversions to San Antonio or Houston-Hobby, plus holds during ACL and F1 weekend congestion. If your inbound slips, the driver simply adjusts — no extra charge inside the free wait.

Can’t see your driver?
Walk the full length of the ground transport island once — Barbara Jordan’s island is longer than it looks. Then call the number on your e-ticket — hoppa’s team answers in an average of 11 seconds, 24/7, a real person, not a chatbot.
