To make organising your travel easy, we’ve created a straightforward system so you can book your Alicante transfers in no time. To begin, fill out your holiday details, including the dates you’re travelling and the number of people who will be with you, in the search bar.
From there, you can take your pick from our range of shuttle buses or private transfers. Whether you’re searching for Alicante taxi transfers or you’d like to book a private minibus, there are always plenty of transport types available. To help you make your final choice, we include a service overview for each option available on your travel dates. These include key details, including cost and journey times.
Once you’ve settled on the transfer transport you want and clicked on the ‘Book now’ button, you’ll arrive at the ‘Extras’ page. Here, you’ll see the ‘Anything we can help with?’ box. This is the part of the booking where you can tell us more about your requirements.
So, if you need special assistance or you want to request an adapted vehicle for your motorised wheelchair for example, enter this into the box and we’ll take it from there. Also, if you have a foldable wheelchair, let us know by adding this information to the box so that your driver can give you a hand.
There is a large range of private Alicante Airport transfers and shuttle buses to choose from, and the type of transport you choose depends on how you’d like to travel. To help you make your decision, here’s a look at how both options operate.
A private transfer means that you will be given a scheduled pick-up time, which can be found on the e-ticket you’re sent as part of your booking. This means you’ll know exactly when to expect your driver when you land at Alicante Airport.
As well as being picked up at a precise time, if you travel by private transfer it’ll just be you and the rest of your party travelling in the vehicle. Your driver will take you all straight to your holiday accommodation from the airport.
Are you considering hopping aboard an Alicante Airport shuttle bus? These are a low-cost option that offer a comfortable journey as we get you to your holiday accommodation with ease.
There might be a wait of up to 45 minutes before you set off from the airport if you choose to travel by bus. This is because, unlike private transfers, other passengers will be arriving on different flights to yours and you’ll be sharing your journey with them. Your fellow holidaymakers are then dropped off along the way and your accommodation will be one of the drop-off points.
Whichever transfer type you opt for – whether you’ve booked a shuttle bus or you’ve decided on one of our private Alicante transfers - everyone in your party can bring one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage with them. This is confirmed when you book, but make sure you check the vehicle is going to be suitable for your luggage before you travel.
If, for example, you’re travelling with a large group, you might need to book a private people carrier to be sure you can fit all your belongings in. On the other hand, if you just have a small case with you, the shuttle bus could be the perfect option.
After you’ve made your decision between our Alicante Airport buses or private transfers and finalised your booking, we’ll send you an e-ticket. This is an important document that includes key information about your transfers, such as details about where to find your driver when you get to arrivals, as well as pick-up and drop-off times.
Your driver will ask to see your e-ticket when you meet them at the airport, so we recommend printing it off before your flight to Alicante. You’ll need to keep hold of your ticket if you’ve booked a return transfer with us. Keep it safe and have it ready to present to your driver on the way back.
Where you need to go to meet your driver once you land at Alicante Airport depends on several factors. These include if you’ll be travelling by shuttle bus or private vehicle, as well as the travel partner that will be providing your transfer. This information about where you need to go when you arrive in Spain is included on your e-ticket, so make sure you check this when you’re trying to find your driver.
You may be directed to the arrivals hall, where you’ll see a travel representative holding a sign displaying your name or ‘hoppa’. Again, show them your ticket and they’ll take you to your vehicle.
If you book a taxi from Alicante with us and you can’t see your driver waiting for you in the arrivals hall when you get to Spain, check the Taxi Official board for updates. You’ll see this board located to the right of the arrivals hall, next to the tourist information kiosk.
Other common pick-up instructions to follow when you reach Alicante request that you head to the Abas Costa Blanca desk. You’ll find this on level -2 (minus 2) and on the same level as the coach park. When you’ve located your travel representative, present them with your e-ticket and they’ll either take you to your vehicle or a waiting area.
Wherever you have been instructed to go, remember to always show the driver your e-ticket. If you can’t see any directions on your ticket, call the number in the ‘Find my pick-up’ section on your ticket for information about what you need to do next.
From time to time, heavy traffic causes our drivers to be slightly delayed in getting to the airport. If you can’t find your driver once you’ve arrived at your pick-up point, call the number on your e-ticket quoting the reference number for an update.
We understand that delays happen now and then, so if there’s a slight hold-up with landing or your luggage hasn’t turned up, your driver will wait for you for 45 minutes.
If you know there’s a delay, even if it falls within the 45 minutes, we always advise that you call the number on your e-ticket, just so that we’re aware. Should you go over the 45-minute waiting time, a new driver may have to be sent to you. Therefore, by letting us know what’s happening, it makes it easier to make the necessary reshuffles to your Alicante transfers.
Should you be delayed for more than three hours, you’ll need to rearrange your transfers with us and contact your travel insurer about how to claim.
When you book your return transfers with hoppa, we make sure you get to your flight home in comfort.
Private transfer pick-up times: If you’re travelling by private transfer for the return leg of your journey, check your e-ticket to find out the pick-up time that your driver will arrive at your holiday accommodation. For a smooth trip back, we ask you to be ready 15 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time so that you can easily load your luggage and get on the road.
Should you opt to receive SMS messages when you make your booking, we’ll text you a reminder of your collection time too.
Shuttle bus pick-up times: Have you planned your return Alicante Airport transfers via shuttle bus? If so, we’ll let you know your pick-up time 24 hours before your plane departure time.
You’ll either receive a text from us if you’ve opted to receive SMS messages when booking, or you can check online. Select ‘My bookings’ and choose the ‘Get my pick-up time’ link. If you can’t find your pick-up time the day before you fly or you don’t receive a notification, call the number on your ticket.
We suggest you get to your pick-up point 10 minutes before your bus arrives. If your bus is late, call the emergency number on your e-ticket and we’ll find out where your driver is.
