Cancun is a popular destination for hoppa passengers, so we have plenty of transport options to choose from for this beautiful location.
To discover your transfer options, enter your travel information in the search bar at the top of this page. You’ll be presented with a selection of shuttle buses and private vehicles that are available for your trip.
If you’re trying to decide between taking a shuttle bus or opting for a private vehicle, we’ve created an at-a-glance guide to how the two compare:
Shuttle buses:
-This option offers cheap transfers to and from Cancun Airport
-You and your party share the bus journey with passengers from other groups
-You might have a wait of up to 45 minutes before you leave the airport. This is because other bus passengers will be arriving on flights that land in Mexico after yours
-There are drop-off points for passengers staying at various resorts along the route
Private vehicles:
-There is a scheduled pick-up time for you to meet your driver at, which is listed on your e-ticket.
-When you meet your driver, you will be escorted to your vehicle
-You and the rest of your group are the only passengers
-There are no drop-off points and you are taken directly to your accommodation
You will see prices listed next to both the shuttle bus and private vehicle options when you search for transport that’s available for your trip. These prices are what you will pay for your preferred transport option if you go ahead with your booking then and there.
However, these are live valuations, so they can change due to fluctuating currency rates. Therefore, if you start looking for transfers and decide to return to your search at a later date, the price may have changed between your first and second search.
After you’ve selected your transport, you will reach the ‘Extras’ page. This includes the ‘Anything we can help with?’ box, which is where you can tell us about what you’ll need.
For example, will you have a motorised wheelchair with you? Perhaps you’ll have a fold-up wheelchair and want to let the driver know. Or maybe you’ll have additional or awkward luggage. By letting us know in the box, we can find an adapted vehicle to accommodate your wheelchair or a minivan for your additional bags.
Whether you’re taking a shuttle bus, or you’ve opted for a private vehicle, we allow one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person. If you want to bring more than this with you, choose a vehicle that can accommodate your additional luggage when you book. Also, tell us in the ‘Anything we can help with?’ box so we can match your transport to your luggage.
We’ll send you an e-ticket after you’ve completed your booking. This is an important document that acts as both a confirmation of your booking as well as a source of information for your transfers. It includes pick-up information as well as emergency contact numbers.
We recommend that you print the e-ticket off before you fly so you have it ready to show your driver when you get to Cancun. Also, you will need to read through it carefully so that you know where to go to find your driver when you get to the airport.
To find your driver, you will need to follow the instructions listed in the ‘Find my pick-up’ section of your e-ticket. If you can’t see any instructions for your Cancun Airport transfers in this section, call the number on your e-ticket for an update.
The details can vary based on the transport provider and whether you’re travelling by shuttle bus or private vehicle.
If you reach the pick-up point and can’t see your driver, call the emergency number on your e-ticket. We’ll then be able to give you an update.
If you think you’re going to miss your pick-up time, let us know by calling the number on your e-ticket. Your driver will wait for you for up to 45 minutes after the original pick-up time but give us a call to let us know even if your delay falls within this period.
We’ll send a new driver to you if you’re delayed for over 45 minutes, and for delays of more than three hours, you’ll have to rearrange your Cancun Airport transfers with us.
Cancun Airport is the gateway to the ‘Mundo Maya’ – the region once inhabited by the Mayan civilization. Millions of passengers fly into Cancun each year before embarking on a tour of some of the historic sites associated with this ancient world.
Whether you plan on exploring some of these sites while in the area or you have other plans for your Mexico stay, there is plenty on offer at the airport for the beginning and end of your holiday.
You can do a spot of shopping at Duty Free, where you’ll find jewellery, clothing and other treats for sale. You can also tuck into everything from pizza and burgers to sea food and snack food at one of the many eateries. There are VIP lounges and storage lockers here too.
Like your inbound transfer, your return Cancun Airport transfer depends on whether you are taking a shuttle bus or private car.
If you’re travelling in a private vehicle, your driver will arrive at your accommodation at the time detailed on your e-ticket. We ask that you’re ready to leave 15 minutes before your pick-up time and have your e-ticket with you so you can show it to your driver.
Taking the shuttle bus back? Your pick-up time will be available for you on this website in the ‘My Bookings’ section the day before your flight.
We’ll send you a text to let you know your pick-up time if you’re on the shuttle or in a private vehicle. Simply opt in to receive SMS messages when you book for an added reminder of when you’ll be collected.
If your driver doesn’t arrive at the designated pick-up time, call the emergency number on your e-ticket and we’ll let you know where they are.
