Arrivals
When you land at Cancun, you arrive at Terminal 3 (most US, Canadian and European airlines) or Terminal 4 (additional US carriers). Walk out of customs and keep walking past the timeshare reps until you reach the official arrivals hall, where your hoppa driver waits inside the terminal with a sign showing your name.
Private transfers
Meet your driver inside the Terminal 3 or Terminal 4 arrivals hall, in the meet-and-greet area, not at the kerb. Your driver holds a sign with your name and the 'hoppa' logo.
Ignore the touts
Do not stop for anyone offering a 'free ride' or 'free upgrade' before you reach the arrivals hall. They are timeshare reps, not your driver.

Free waiting time
International arrivals get 60 minutes of free waiting time after scheduled landing, plus a 30-minute buffer for immigration and baggage queues.
Diverted to Cozumel or Mérida?
Cancun diverts a handful of times a year. Your driver sees the diversion the moment it happens because the booking is tied to your flight number, not your scheduled arrival time, and reroutes with no action from you.

Can’t find your driver?
Call the number on your e-ticket and do not leave the terminal. hoppa’s team picks up in an average of 11 seconds, a 99.7% call answer rate: a real person, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What to do around Tulum?
Every Tulum destination sits at the end of the same 130-kilometre stretch of Federal 307, but the rewards start the moment you arrive.
- Tulum Archaeological Zone, the clifftop Mayan ruins overlooking the Caribbean, 10 minutes from Tulum Pueblo.
- Gran Cenote and Dos Ojos cenote, freshwater swimming holes within 20 minutes of town.
- Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, UNESCO-listed wetlands and lagoons south of the Beach Zone, ideal for boat tours and birding.
- Cobá ruins, 45 minutes inland, are the tallest pyramid on the Yucatán Peninsula; you can still climb it.
