You deserve a straight answer about the train. Swiss rail into Graubünden is genuinely good, Zurich to Chur is fast and frequent, and a post bus runs up the valley from there. If you are travelling light, you would enjoy arriving that way.

If you are travelling with kit, you have a different trip on your hands. Every board bag, ski bag and boot bag comes off at Chur and goes on again, and on a park trip that is a lot of items against a tight connection. Your return leg is worse, done tired and to an airport deadline.
