How do I book my Krakow Airport transfers?

Tell us the details about your Krakow trip in the bar at the top of this page and click on the ‘Search’ button when you’re ready. You’ll then see a list of shuttle buses and private vehicles that are available for your dates of travel.

Private transport v shuttle bus

Here’s a look at the how the two types of transport work:

Private vehicles

  • You will meet your driver at the airport at the scheduled pick-up time listed on your e-ticket (read on to find out more about the e-ticket)
  • Your group will be the only passengers
  • There are no drop-off points and you will be taken directly to your accommodation

Shuttle buses

  • You and the rest of your group will meet your driver at the airport
  • You’ll share the journey with passengers from other groups
  • There might be a waiting time of up to 45 minutes before you leave the airport. This is to leave time for your fellow passengers to fly into Poland on different flights to yours
  • The shuttle bus stops at set drop-off points and your stop will be on the route

How much will I pay for my Krakow transfer?

To make planning airport transfers to your Krakow accommodation as easy as possible, we list the prices with each transport option that’s available for your trip. This is the amount you’ll pay if you book that day. However, these prices are live valuations based on fluctuating currency rates and resort pricing, so they can change from day to day.

Therefore, if you start looking for your transfers now then go back to your search tomorrow, the prices may have changed between your first and second search.

What happens after I’ve chosen my transport?

After you’ve selected your transport, you will get to the ‘Extras’ stage of the booking process. On this page, you’ll see the ‘Anything we can help with?’ box, where you can tell us about what you need for your transfer.

For example, if you’ll have a wheelchair with you or you’ll be bringing extra luggage along, these are details to include in this box. We’ll then match your vehicle to this information.

What’s the luggage allowance?

We allow one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person, whether you are travelling by private vehicle or shuttle bus. However, we know that sometimes passengers may need to bring extra bags, so when you book you will need to choose a vehicle that can accommodate your additional luggage.

The e-ticket

After you’ve completed your booking, look out for an email from us that includes your e-ticket. When you receive this, print it off so you can easily present it to your driver when you meet them at the airport.

Also, you’ll need to read this carefully so that you know where to go to meet your driver when you arrive at Krakow Airport. It also features key details, such as contact information so you can speak to us about your transfers if you need help when you’re in Poland.

Where do I go when I get to Krakow Airport?

Once you’ve picked up your luggage, you’ll need to follow the instructions in the ‘Find my pick-up’ section of your e-ticket. This section also tells you who the transfer is being provided by.

Most joining instructions for passengers in Krakow direct them to the arrivals hall, where a travel representative will be holding a sign displaying the transfer provider’s name and ‘hoppa’ or the passenger’s name.

Joining directions can depend on the transport provider and the transport type you have selected. If there is no information about where to go to meet your driver listed in the ‘Find my pick-up’ section, call the number on the e-ticket to find out where to go.

Where’s my driver?

Our drivers are reliable and will always aim to be at the airport on time. However, sometimes there can be delays due to traffic congestion. If you can’t see your driver when you get to the pick-up point, call the number on your e-ticket and we’ll find out where they are for you.

I won’t be there on time

If you’re going to miss your pick-up time because your flight’s delayed or your bags are taking a while to be unloaded from the plane, let us know by calling the number on your e-ticket.

Your driver will wait for you for up to 45 minutes after your original collection time, but by letting us know as soon as you can, you’re giving us plenty of notice to line up an alternative driver for you.

For delays running over 45 minutes, we will send a different driver to you. If you’re delayed for more than three hours, you’ll have to rearrange your Krakow transfer to your accommodation with us.

What will I find at Krakow Airport?

Krakow Airport – officially named Krakow John Paul II International Airport – is conveniently located just 10 miles from the city centre, meaning visitors flying into Poland can be transferred to their accommodation within 30 minutes.

This is a popular airport, serving six million passengers in 2018 and listing over 20 airlines. With so many people arriving and departing from here, the lines for taxis can be long. By arranging shuttle bus or private transfers from Krakow Airport with us, you can skip the queues and get your Krakow city break underway.

For those waiting for their flight, there is plenty on offer. As well as the Duty Free area, filled with perfumes, cosmetics, sweets and souvenirs, there are restaurants and cafés too. There’s also the very special observation deck, where you can enjoy watching the planes come and go.

Getting home

As well as having your Krakow Airport transfers to the city centre covered, we’ll get you back for your flight home, too. If you’ve booked return transfers, you’ll need to know where you’ll find your pick-up information as this depends on whether you’re taking the shuttle or private car back.

Passengers travelling by private vehicle

  • You will be collected from your accommodation at the time listed in the return section of your e-ticket
  • If you’ve opted to receive SMS messages from us, we’ll send you a text about your pick-up time to remind you
  • Make sure you’re ready 15 minutes before your pick-up time and have your e-ticket ready to show to the driver

Passengers travelling by shuttle bus

  • You will be able to check your pick-up information online in the ‘My bookings’ section the day before your flight
  • We’ll also text you with your pick-up information 24 hours before your flight if you opt to receive SMS messages from us
  • Aim to be at the pick-up point 10 minutes before your bus arrives and have your e-ticket ready for the driver to check

Can’t see your driver? You’ll need to call the number on your e-ticket for an update.
