We know that you want everything taken care of before you land. That’s why our booking system has been designed to make booking your airport transfers in Lanzarote simple and stress-free.
To begin, enter the dates you’ll be travelling in the search bar and how many of you will be in your party. This will show you the transport options that are available for your journey.
You can then choose between a shuttle bus or one of our private transfers. Thanks to our leading transport partners in the region, we have a wide range of vehicles available on the island for you pick from.
When you make your choice, you’ll reach the ‘Extras’ page. This features the ‘Anything we can help with?’ box, the section where you can tell us specific information that we might need. This could be details about any unusual luggage you’re bringing with you or a request for an adapted car so you can easily transport your motorised wheelchair. You’ll also need to add a note here if you have a foldable wheelchair. We’ll then find you the best vehicle to fit.
Private transfer passengers have a set pick-up time, which is included on the e-ticket. This means that you’ll know when to expect your driver when you land at Lanzarote Airport.
Also, when you pick one of our private vehicles, you and the rest of your group will be the only passengers. You’ll all be taken directly to your holiday accommodation from the airport.
Our shuttle buses are the perfect option if you’re looking for easy airport transfers in Lanzarote. You may have to wait for up to 45 minutes before setting off from the airport if you decide to travel by shuttle bus. This is because your fellow passengers may be arriving on later flights.
You’ll then share the journey to your hotel or villa with these fellow holidaymakers. Passengers on your bus are dropped off along the way and your accommodation will be one of the drop-off points.
Whether you’ve booked private Lanzarote Airport transfers to Playa Blanca or a shuttle bus to Costa Teguise, everyone in your party can bring one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage each. Double-check that the vehicle is going to be suitable for the luggage that you’ll have with you before you travel. For instance, if you’re bringing more than one suitcase per person, you’ll need a larger vehicle.
When you complete your booking, we’ll send you an e-ticket. This is the document that includes everything you need to know about your journey, from where to find your driver when you get to Lanzarote to pick-up and drop-off times.
Print your ticket before you set off for your flight so you can easily show it to your driver when you meet them at the airport. You’ll also be asked to show it to your driver on your return transfer at the end of your holiday, so you’ll need to keep hold of the printout.
When you get to Lanzarote Airport, you’ll need to follow the pick-up details on your e-ticket. This information is just for your journey and might differ depending on your transport option and the transfer partner you’ll be travelling with.
One of the most common pick-up instructions for holidaymakers trying to find their driver in Lanzarote is to go to the hoppa desk (Viajes Poseidon office). You’ll find this in the arrivals area, just after the baggage reclaim area in Terminal 1.
Once you’ve located your transfer representative and shown them your e-ticket, you’ll be escorted to your vehicle or to a waiting area if you’re travelling by shuttle bus. If you’re travelling by private transfer, you’ll be taken straight to your vehicle.
If you can’t see your driver when you get to your pick-up point, call the number on your e-ticket to get an update. Our drivers can sometimes be slightly delayed due to heavy traffic, but when you call the number you’ll be told where they are and what to do next.
If you won’t be at your pick-up point on time because your flight’s delayed or your luggage hasn’t arrived on time, your driver will wait for 45 minutes. We recommend that you call the number on your e-ticket if you know there’ll be a hold-up. This is because a new driver might be sent to you for delays of over the 45-minute waiting time, so keeping us posted is very helpful for us to be able to make alternative arrangements for your transfer.
For any delays over three hours, you’ll need to call us to rearrange your transfer and claim through your travel insurance.
Lanzarote Airport is a busy hub for tourists, with 7.3 million passengers flying in and out in 2018. Conveniently located just three miles from Lanzarote’s capital, Arrecife, it features shops, boutiques and eateries. It’s also home to the Museo Aeronáutico del Aeropuerto de Lanzarote – the airport’s own aviation museum.
Are you using one of our shuttle buses for your Lanzarote Airport transfers? We’ll let you know your pick-up time 24 hours before your plane departure time.
You’ll receive a text message detailing when you’ll be collected if you opt to receive SMS messages from us when you book, or you can check online. Click on ‘My bookings’ and ‘Get my pick-up time’. If you can’t find your pick-up time the day before you fly, call the number on your ticket.
Get to your pick-up point 10 minutes before your bus arrives. If your bus is late, call the emergency number on your e-ticket to find out where it is.
If you’re using a private vehicle to take you to the airport, you’ll find information in the ‘Find my pick-up’ section of your e-ticket. Aim to be ready to be collected by your driver at your accommodation 15 minutes before your pick-up time.
We’ll send you a reminder text if you choose to receive SMS messages. If you can’t find your driver or you can’t make the collection time, call one of the emergency numbers listed on your ticket.
