In a destination where cosmopolitan living and internationally acclaimed organisations come as standard, it perhaps comes as no surprise that beautiful Geneva is a sophisticated place to visit for both business and leisure. Switzerland’s second-largest city combines its tourist-friendly amenities with its kaleidoscope of bohemian artists and pioneering activists to deliver a complex and unique mix of the lovely and the raucous.
Whether you’re taking a trip for work or you’re heading to this chic Swiss location for a cool city break, allow hoppa to take care of each airport transfer in Geneva. Our team of travel providers will take you straight to your accommodation and, if you’ve booked a return journey, they’ll get you back in time for your flight home.
It’s easy to book with us. Begin by telling us your travel details in the section at the top of this page. When you’re ready, hit ‘Search’ and we’ll show you a variety of private vehicles that are available for your trip.
You’ll see that each private transfer from Geneva Airport includes price quotes. This is the amount you will pay for that vehicle if you book there and then.
However, all our prices are live, which means they are subject to change based on fluctuating currency rates, so the price you see today may be slightly different tomorrow. If you see a figure that you like, we recommend that you book in that moment as this will freeze the cost at the rate you’ve seen, regardless of any future alterations.
Once you’ve selected the vehicle that suits your trip, you’ll reach the ‘Extras’ page. This includes the option to add more baggage for your transfers. If you can’t see that option, contact us and we’ll help to make sure you’re fully booked onto your transfers.
Passengers are allowed one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person as standard. If you need to bring more than this with you, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
When you complete your booking, we’ll send your e-ticket to your email address. This is a key document that proves your booking and provides information about your transfers, such as departure times, where to find your driver and contact numbers. We recommend printing off a paper copy as a failsafe so you can easily present it to your driver.
When you arrive, take a look at the ‘Find my pick-up’ section of your e-ticket. Here you’ll find all the instructions you need to locate your transfer from Geneva Airport. Your meet-up point and directions may differ depending on your choice of travel and the transfer provider, so make sure to take a read through it before you land.
If you can’t see any instructions or you have any questions, you’ll find an emergency number on the ticket. Call this if you need our assistance.
Sometimes, traffic can cause your driver to be slightly late for your pick-up. If you can’t see them when you get to the meeting point, give us a ring on the number on your e-ticket and we’ll help you.
While we hope you’re not delayed, we are prepared if you do miss your pick-up time. Our drivers will wait up to 45 minutes after your scheduled meeting time, and we’ll send a new driver to you if your delay lasts between 45 minutes and three hours. In the event of a delay lasting longer, we’ll need to rearrange your airport transfer in Geneva and you must contact your travel insurer.
You’ll find everything you’d expect from a major airport. Ideally located just under four miles from the city centre, this transport hub offers everything from shops and eateries to a visitor centre and VIP area.
