We want to make sure arranging your Gran Canaria transfers with us is simple and stress-free. That’s why we offer an easy-to-navigate booking system.
Begin by entering the dates you’ll be travelling and number of passengers into the search bar. You’ll then see the list of transport options that you can choose from and you’ll either select a shuttle bus or one of our private transfers.
Once you’ve made your decision, you’ll reach the ‘Extras’ page. This is the part of the booking where you can tell us about your individual requirements for the journey.
In the ‘Anything we can help with?’ box, you can request an adapted car for your motorised wheelchair: tell us if you have a foldable wheelchair: or let us know if you’ll have any unusual luggage with you. This means we can make sure we provide you with a vehicle that’s the best fit.
Travelling via private transfer means that you will have a set pick-up time from the airport. This time is included on your e-ticket and means you’ll know when to expect your driver before your flight into Gran Canaria.
When you meet your driver, you and the rest of your group will be the only passengers in the private vehicle, and you’ll all be taken directly to your holiday accommodation from the airport.
For budget-friendly transport, our shuttle buses offer no-fuss airport transfers in Gran Canaria. As you’ll be travelling with holidaymakers from other parties, there might be a wait of up to 45 minutes before you set off from the airport while you wait for your fellow passengers’ flights to land.
Once you’ve all set off from the airport, your fellow passengers on your bus are dropped off along the way. Your holiday accommodation will be one of the drop-off points.
Everyone in your party can bring one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage each. We suggest you double-check that the vehicle is going to be suitable for the luggage that you’ll have with you before you book with us.
So, if you need a people carrier for the large group you’ll be travelling with or you need an accessible vehicle, make sure you’ve arranged this before you confirm your booking.
We send you an e-ticket when you complete your booking. This is the document that includes key information about your journey, from pick-up times to collection points.
When you receive it, check through it carefully to make sure it includes information about your Gran Canaria transfers with us. If there are any incomplete sections or you think anything is missing, call the number at the bottom of the ticket to find out more.
It’s worth printing your e-ticket before you set off for your flight so that you can show it to your driver when you get into Gran Canaria. You’ll be asked to show it to the driver when you’re setting off on your return transfer at the end of your holiday too, so keep hold of it.
When you land in Gran Canaria, you’ll need to follow the information on your e-ticket to locate your driver. The instructions you’re given may differ to other hoppa passengers, depending on the travel partner providing the transfer service and the type of transport you’ve selected.
Most pick-up directions will tell you to head to the hoppa desk (Viajes Poseidon desk, which is office number 13 at Terminal / Arrivals Hall 2). To find this, when you reach the arrivals area after the baggage reclaim, you’ll see the desk located to the left.
When you locate your transfer representative, show them your e-ticket. You’ll then either be taken straight to your vehicle if you’re taking a private transfer or escorted to your vehicle or to a waiting area if you’re travelling by shuttle bus.
If you can’t see your driver when you get to your pick-up point, call the number on your e-ticket to get an update. Sometimes they get caught up in heavy traffic, but we’ll always let you know what’s happening.
If your flight’s delayed or your luggage hasn’t arrived on time, your driver will wait for 45 minutes. As soon as you know there’ll be a hold-up, give the number on your e-ticket a call to let us know.
We might send you a new driver if the delay goes over the 45-minute waiting time, so letting us know as early as possible means we can get on with making alternative transfer arrangements from Gran Canaria Airport.
Should your delay exceed three hours, you’ll need to call us to rearrange your transfer. You can then claim through your travel insurance.
As well as being the gateway to a destination filled with idyllic beaches and captivating landscapes: superb golfing across eight courses and decadent cuisine such as the creamy queso de flor cheese, Gran Canaria Airport is also a bustling hub for holidaymakers.
In 2018, 13.6 million passengers used the airport. With so many visitors, it gets especially busy during the summer months. You can avoid the long taxi queues by choosing hoppa for your holiday transfers in Gran Canaria.
While you wait for your flight, you can head to the duty free, pick up some souvenirs or take your seat in one of the eateries.
If you book a shuttle bus for your return journey to the airport, you’ll be able to check your pick-up time 24 hours before your plane is due to depart.
Should you decide to opt to receive SMS messages from us when you book, we’ll send you a text message that tells you when you’ll be collected. You can also check your pick-up time online. Click on ‘My bookings’ and ‘Get my pick-up time’. If you can’t see your pick-up time, call the number on your ticket.
We recommend that you get to your pick-up point 10 minutes before your bus arrives. If your bus is late, call the emergency number on your e-ticket and we’ll update you.
Have you booked a private transfer to Gran Canaria Airport? Your pick-up time for the return leg of your journey is in the ‘Find my pick-up’ section of your e-ticket. We suggest being ready for collection from your accommodation 15 minutes before your pick-up time.
You’ll receive a reminder text if you choose to receive SMS messages from us when you place your transfer booking. If your driver isn’t there at the allotted time, call one of the emergency numbers on your ticket.
