What if my flight is delayed by more than 2 hours?

A delay that long may mean your transfer has to be rescheduled, so call the number on your e-ticket as soon as you know. Customer service will coordinate a new pickup time with the driver. If your driver cannot pick you up as scheduled, your order is cancelled without charge.

What if my flight is cancelled entirely?

Your transfer is cancelled free of charge. Contact customer service immediately so we can update the booking.

What if my flight is diverted to a different airport?

Contact us immediately. We'll do our best to reschedule your pickup, though we can't guarantee a free transfer if the new airport is in a different region or significantly further from your destination.

Where will I meet my driver?

24 hours before pickup we send a final SMS or WhatsApp with the exact meeting point and your driver's contact details. Meet & greet at the arrival gate is available on request, subject to airport policy. If it is not possible at the gate, we'll assign an alternative meeting point.

What if I'm stuck inside the airport (luggage, immigration)?

Use the emergency number on your e-ticket to call the driver or local supplier and let them know you're still in the terminal. The driver will wait through their free period and, if reached in time, can sometimes extend.

What counts as a no-show?

Not appearing within the free waiting period and being unreachable for additional time. No-shows are charged in full and non-refundable.

Why do Saas-Fee travellers choose a private transfer with hoppa?

The second reason is the luggage, and here it is sharper than on most resorts. The rail journey is good as far as Visp and then it is a post bus up the valley, and at the end of it the village is car-free, so you are carrying everything the last stretch yourself whatever you did before.

How much is a transfer to Saas-Fee?

£792 puts three of you in a private car out of Geneva, and thirteen vehicles quote that leg. Most people flying to Saas-Fee pay something close to it.

Zurich opens lower at £774, but you get an SUV rather than a private car, and 227 minutes rather than 159. Milan Malpensa opens at £571 and gets you there quicker over a shorter road. If you check one thing before you buy a flight, check that.

Sion is the odd one at £437 for 68 minutes. It is a real fare and it is much the lowest anyone quotes to the resort. Scheduled service into Sion is limited and seasonal, so price it and do not plan your week around it.

Sion quotes the 5, 7 and 8-seat minibuses and both private cars at the same £576, so eight of you pay what a couple pays. A second 8-seat minibus sits there at £1,048. Milan and Bern each quote their 7- and 8-seaters identically, so you never have a reason to take the seven.

Almost everyone turns south out of Malpensa towards Milan. Lake Maggiore lies the other way, and Stresa on its western shore is no further from the terminal than the city is. Saas-Grund stands on the floor of the Saas valley at 1,559 metres, directly below Saas-Fee on the same road. Cars reach the front doors here, which Saas-Fee has not permitted since 1951. Its own gondola climbs the far side of the valley to Kreuzboden and on to Hohsaas at 3,142 metres, and a drop-off down here is a different booking from one up in Saas-Fee.
