Get your trip off to the best start by booking Budapest airport transfers with Hoppa. We want to make securing your transport as quick and easy as possible, which is why there are just a few simple steps to complete online. All you need to do is enter your travel information into the boxes at the top of the page, such as your drop-off location, pick up date and time. Then, hit ‘Search’ to see all the shuttle bus and private transfer options available. When you’ve found the perfect Budapest airport transfer, secure it by clicking the ‘Book now’ button.
Are you unsure which type of transfer is right for you? Here’s what you can expect from each option:
Shuttle bus:
-This is often the most cost-effective transfer option.
-There may be a short wait at the airport. This is because the bus will need to wait for other passengers to arrive at the pick-up point, whose flights may arrive after yours.
-As you are sharing with other travellers, there will be drop-off points throughout your journey, and your destination may not be first.
Private vehicle:
-You and your family/friends/colleagues will be the only passengers in the vehicle.
-A specific pick-up time for your will be provided on your e-ticket. This means you don’t have to wait in long taxi queues at the airport.
-When you meet your driver, you’ll be taken straight your destination with no other stops on route.
After entering your travel details at the top of the pages and hitting ‘Search’, various Budapest transfers will appear. There will be prices shown for each of the options available. It’s important to note that the prices you see are live valuations and are subject to change in line with resort pricing and currency rates. This means that if you don’t complete your booking today and wait until a later date, the cost may be slightly different.
Once you’ve chosen a Budapest airport shuttle or private vehicle, you’ll arrive at the ‘Extras’ part of the booking. At this stage, you’ll be given information on your baggage allowance, which is typically one piece of carry-on plus one suitcase per passenger. Need room for extra items like a wheelchair, golf clubs or suitcases? Don’t worry, you can add these onto your booking here.
Once you’ve booked your Budapest airport transfer, you’ll receive an e-ticket to the email address you provided. It’s important to keep this safe, as it contains your pick-up time and location details, in addition to any contact numbers you may need. We recommend you check it carefully before your departure.
It also may be wise printing it off before you set off and popping it in your hand luggage. This will mean you have your e-ticket to hand to show your driver and it won’t get lost should anything happen to your hold luggage.
Have you touched down? Great! Check the ‘Find my pick-up’ section of your e-ticket, which will have information on where you should go to meet the driver of your airport transfer in Budapest.
This may be different each time you book a transfer, depending on the travel company or type of vehicle you’ve selected. However, the majority of travellers that touch down in Budapest will need to go to the arrivals hall – your driver or travel representative will be there with a sign showing your name or hoppa.
Please check the ‘Find my pick-up’ section carefully, and if you can’t find details of your Budapest airport transfer, call us on the number listed on your e-ticket.
Unfortunately, heavy traffic can mean our drivers run a little late sometimes. If you arrive at the meeting point and can’t see your driver, please don’t worry. Call the number provided on your e-ticket and we can give you an update.
As above, please don’t worry if you’re the one that’s running a little behind schedule. We know that flights can be delayed, or bags can take a while to arrive post-flight. If you think you will be late to meet the driver of your airport transfer in Budapest, call us on the number shown on your e-ticket. We’ll get in touch with the driver and let them know you’ll be late.
They will wait for up to 45 minutes after the arranged pick-up time. After that, we’ll send a new driver to collect you. Delayed by three hours or more? You’ll need to get in touch with us and rearrange your Budapest airport transfer, as well as contacting your travel insurance.
