How do I book my Orlando Airport transfers with hoppa?

We’ve got an easy-to-use system to make booking your Orlando Airport transfers straightforward and fuss-free. Simply fill out your trip details in the search bar at the top of the hoppa website, including the destinations that you need the transfers to and from, the dates you are travelling, and the number of people that will be joining you for the transfer.

You’ll be directed to a new page where you can choose from a variety of shuttle buses or private transfers. There are plenty of transportation types available for selection, from Orlando taxis to private minibus transfers. Each option includes a service overview with key details, cost, and journey time, to help you make your final choice.

When you’ve chosen the best transport option to suit your needs, click on the ‘Book now’ button, and you’ll arrive at the ‘Extras’ page where you can let us know if you have any specific requirements in the ‘Anything we can help with?’ box. If you require special assistance, want to bring any additional or unusual luggage, or need an adapted vehicle for a motorised wheelchair, for example, you can let us know in this box and we’ll take it from there. If you have a foldable wheelchair, let us know in this section too so that your driver can help.

Next, you’ll be taken to a page to complete your booking where you can confirm all your details, including your flight number, and enter in a promo code if you have one. Be sure to double-check all the details including the pickup time before clicking ‘Pay now’ where you can complete your payment details and secure your booking.

What’s the difference between a hoppa shuttle bus service and private transport?

We offer a wide range of transportation options in Orlando, and whether you choose a private transfer or opt for a shared shuttle bus service depends on how you prefer to travel.

The Orlando shuttle bus transfers that we have available are lower in cost, but you share the journey to your destination with other travellers, and there may be various drop-off points along the way. In a private vehicle, however, the only passengers are you and your party, and you will be transported directly to your accommodation with no stops.

Your pickup time from Orlando Airport is also affected by the type of transportation that you choose. Private transfers have scheduled pickup times, so your e-ticket will let you know exactly what time you can expect your driver to be waiting for you. Shuttle busses need to wait for various travellers arriving on different flights, so there will be a waiting time of up to 45 minutes before you depart for your holiday accommodation.

How much luggage am I allowed?

Whichever transfer type you opt for – whether you’ve booked a shuttle bus or you’ve decided on one of our private Alicante transfers - everyone in your party can bring one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage with them. This is confirmed when you book, but make sure you check the vehicle is going to be suitable for your luggage before you travel.

If, for example, you’re travelling with a large group, you might need to book a private people carrier to be sure you can fit all your belongings in. On the other hand, if you just have a small case with you, the shuttle bus could be the perfect option.

What happens once I’ve booked?

Once you’ve chosen your Orlando Airport transfer and finalised your booking, you’ll receive an e-ticket that includes key information about your transfers. Be sure to double-check all the information on your e-ticket when you receive it, including where to find your driver when you get to arrivals, as well as your pick-up and drop-off times.

You will need to present your e-ticket to your driver at the Orlando airport, so be sure to print it out before your boarding your flight. If you’ve booked a return transfer, you’ll need to present your e-ticket for your trip back to the airport, so keep it safe and have it ready to show to your driver on the way back.

Where do I need to go when I get to Orlando Airport?

When you arrive at Orlando Airport, head to the arrivals hall where a hoppa representative will be waiting for you with a sign that either displays your name or ‘hoppa’. Show the representative your e-ticket, and you’ll be taken to your shuttle bus or private transport. These meeting details can change, however, so be sure to always check the information on your ticket.

I can’t find my driver

Drivers can sometimes be delayed on account of traffic or some other reason, so be sure to phone the number on your e-ticket for an update if you can’t see anyone waiting for you in the arrivals hall. You’ll need to quote the reference number on your e-ticket when you phone, so be sure to keep this handy. The team at the resort will be able to tell you where your driver is and advise you on what to do next.

My flight is delayed: what now?

Delays are a fairly common occurrence in air travel, and if you land later than expected or your luggage seems to be missing, call the number on your e-ticket just so that your driver is aware of the delay. Your original driver will wait up to 45 minutes for you, while a new one may be sent if you go over that waiting time. Letting us know as soon as possible about the delay allows us to reshuffle as needed to ensure that your Orlando transfers are as seamless as possible.

If you’re delayed for over three hours, however, you’ll need to rearrange your transfers with us and contact your travel insurer about how to claim.

Where will I be picked up from for my return flight?

We want to ensure that your trip ends on a high note with a seamless journey back to the airport. For this reason, we’ve created a system for pick-ups that ensures you know exactly where to be and at what time before your flight home.

Private transfer pick-up times

If you’ve booked a private transfer from your holiday accommodation to the airport, your e-ticket will have the necessary information regarding the time that the driver will pick you up from your hotel. It’s important to be ready 15 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time so that your luggage can quickly be loaded and to ensure a smooth trip back.

If you’ve opted to receive SMS messages when making your booking, you’ll also receive a reminder of your collection time via text.

Shuttle bus pick-up times

If you’ve booked a shuttle bus for your return Orlando Airport transfer, you’ll be notified of your pick-up time 24 hours before your flight departure time.

If you opted to receive SMS messages during the booking process, you’ll receive the notification as a text message. Otherwise, you can check online by selecting ‘My Bookings’ and choosing the ‘Get my pick-up time’ link. If you’re unsure of your pick-up time the day before you fly, call the number on your ticket.

It’s best to arrive at your pick-up point 10 minutes before your bus arrives to ensure a smooth, seamless transfer. Call the emergency number on your ticket if the bus is late, and we’ll find out where the driver is.
