Shared Transfers with Hoppa

If you're on a tight budget and want to travel from Aberdeen or Inverness to Nevis Range, shared transfers with Hoppa are a great option. The 240 km journey from Aberdeen takes around 3.5 to 4 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Inverness is much closer, about 100 km away and 2 hours from Nevis Range. Our shared transfers run to a schedule and offer comfortable seating. They're a great way to travel if you're looking for a bargain.

Covering the same distance, private transfers take around 3.5 hours from Aberdeen and just over 1.5 hours from Inverness, depending on the weather and road conditions. Public Transport: Bus and Train

If you prefer to use public transport and are arriving by plane, Inverness airport might be the most convenient option, with buses running regularly to the resort for a journey of around 2 hours. Alternatively, if you're travelling from elsewhere, you can take a bus or train to the nearest station to Nevis Range, which is in Fort William, just 10 km from the resort. Taxis and shuttles operate from the station to the resort. Public transport is an affordable option, but you will need to plan your timings and connections carefully.

  • Glencoe – 35 km, 40 minutes by car: A stunning valley with breathtaking scenery, Glencoe is a must-visit for walkers and photographers. It's also home to a popular ski centre and has a tragic history - the Glencoe Massacre is one of Scotland's most infamous.
  • Inverness – 110 km, 2 hours by car: The capital of the Highlands, Inverness has a great city atmosphere and is home to Inverness Castle, the River Ness and Loch Ness. It's a great base for exploring the north Highlands.
  • Cairngorms National Park – 110 km, 1.5 hours by car: This vast national park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with skiing, hiking and wildlife spotting at its heart. The stunning scenery makes it a must-visit for nature lovers.
  • Oban – 80 km, 1.5 hours by car: This charming seaside town is known as the "Gateway to the Isles". Oban has lovely views, great seafood and ferry links to Scotland's western isles.
  • Loch Ness – 75 km, 1.5 hours by car: Famous for its legendary monster, Loch Ness is a beautiful and peaceful area. Take a boat trip on the loch, visit historic Urquhart Castle or simply enjoy the stunning scenery.
