Arrivals
Memmingen Allgäu has one passenger terminal and it is a small one. Clear passport control, collect your cases from the single reclaim hall, then walk straight out: there is only one place your driver can be. Ground transport all leaves from the forecourt outside the door. Your e-ticket names your driver and gives you a number to call.
Private transfers
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall, past the barrier, holding a sign that shows your name or the 'hoppa' logo.
Coaches
Walk out to the forecourt directly outside the terminal door. Give your party size at booking so the right vehicle is there.
Delays & Driver Info
1
Free waiting time
You get up to 60 minutes of free waiting after your flight lands. On an international arrival a 30-minute buffer is added before the waiting time starts, which covers one reclaim belt handing back the whole flight at once.
Delayed, diverted or landing early?
Your driver follows your flight from the moment you board. Winter fog across this part of Bavaria occasionally sends an arrival somewhere else. Your driver sees it before the hall does, and rings you to move the pick-up. A delayed flight simply moves your pick-up, with nothing for you to do.

Can't find your driver?
Stay in the arrivals hall and call the number on your e-ticket. hoppa's team picks up in an average of 11 seconds, a 99.7% call answer rate: a real person, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hoppa help centre answers most questions before you need to call.
What to do around Memmingen?
If your flight home leaves late in the day, the town next to the airport repays an afternoon.
- The old town is a walled free imperial city, with a market square of painted gabled houses and a surviving stretch of wall and towers.
- The Kramerzunfthaus carries a plaque to the Twelve Articles of 1525, drafted here and often called the first written statement of peasants' rights in Europe.
- The Allgäu starts a few kilometres south, with dairy country, lakes and the first of the foothills within half an hour's drive.
