It’s been almost two months since European airlines stopped flying, but that has finally come to an end. easyJet has announced that a number of flights from 21 European airports will restart from 15 June. This includes many UK domestic routes, as well as routes in France, Switzerland, Portugal, and Spain.
Ryanair intends to restore almost half of its European flying schedule in July, with one-way fares starting at €19.99 – including countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, France, and others with tourism-based economies.
TUI’s 2020 holiday plans are set to begin in Germany towards the end of May, after the restrictions to contain the coronavirus have been lifted, with holidays to the Balearics, Canaries, Greece, and Cyprus, as well as cruises on the North Sea, set to resume first.
Portugal will begin reopening to tourists from the beginning of June. Beaches, hotels, restaurants, museums, and coffee shops will all start reopening from the first week of June, but with strict social distancing guidelines in place.
