Whether you fancy lounging on dazzling white sandy beaches lapped by sparkling waters, exploring the sublime tropical waterfalls or appreciating life below the waves on a snorkelling adventure, Koh Samui is the ultimate destination for an escape from the everyday.
If you’re planning a trip to Thailand’s second-largest island and need to arrange your Koh Samui Airport transfers, hoppa offers a hassle-free journey to and from your accommodation. Our team of travel providers are ready and waiting to help you get your holiday underway, so book with us today to round off your travel plans.
To book a transfer from Koh Samui Airport to your hotel, fill out your travel information in the boxes at the top of this page and click the ‘Search’ button when you’re ready. From there, you’ll see a selection of shuttle buses and private hire vehicles available for your trip.
Both our shuttle buses and private vehicles offer a smooth and stress-free trip to your accommodation. However, it’s worth knowing the differences between the two before you book. Here’s an overview of the two options to help you decide which option suits you best:
When you see the list of transport options available for your Koh Samui Airport transfers, you’ll notice that there are prices listed against both the shuttle and private options. The cost of your transfers will be the price that’s listed with your preferred transport method.
All our rates are based on live valuations, which means that the prices can vary due to things like changing resort pricing and currency fluctuations. So, if you begin your search then come back to it at a later date, you might see that the amount you’ll pay for the same transfer option is slightly different. However, once you book, your price is fixed at the total you were given at the time of booking.
Once you’ve chosen your preferred transport method, you’ll reach the ‘Extras’ page. If you’re travelling to your accommodation by private transport, you’ll see that this section of the booking process includes options to add to your luggage.
As there’s a luggage allowance of one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person for both shuttle and private transport, this Extras page is a great opportunity for you to book on additional luggage as a private vehicle passenger. Make sure you check this Extras page over before you head to the next stage of the booking.
On completion of your booking with us, we’ll send an e-ticket to your email address. It’s important you have access to this for both your inbound and outbound transfers as it acts as both confirmation of your booking and a guide to how your transfers work. Read through it carefully so you know where to go when you arrive in Koh Samui and what numbers to call if you need to speak to us.
It’s best that you print your e-ticket off before your flight so that you can easily show it to your driver upon arrival.
On your e-ticket, you’ll find a section titled ‘Find my pick-up’. In that section, you’ll find instructions for you that detail where and when to meet your driver, along with any further information you might need. If you can’t find the information you need or can’t see any instructions, call the number on the e-ticket to speak to us.
Details will vary based on whether you’re travelling via shuttle or privately, and on which provider is running your transfer.
Sometimes our drivers can be held up in traffic. If you can’t find your driver when you reach the pick-up point, call the emergency number on your ticket and we’ll let you know how long they’ll be.
We know that delays happen, which is why our drivers will wait for you for up to 45 minutes after the designated pick-up time. If you’re going to be late, even if it’s within the 45-minute period, let us know by calling the number on the e-ticket so we can make preparations for a back-up driver if need be.
If you’re delayed longer than 45 minutes, we’ll need to arrange another driver to meet you. If you’re over three hours late, you’ll need to rearrange your transfers with us and contact your travel insurer.
Koh Samui Airport is an airport with a difference. With a beautiful open-air design and an abundance of lush greenery, it slots seamlessly into this island setting and shuns the typical terminals for something much cooler.
For passengers, there is plenty to do between flights. Enjoy some retail therapy in the Samui Park shopping arcade to tucking into international cuisine from Japan and China, as well as some tasty Thai treats.
To help you with your holiday planning, here are a few estimates on transfer times from Koh Samui Airport to popular hotel and resort locations:

Wherever you’re staying, whether it’s an independent hotel or the Conrad, your return Koh Samui transfer is covered with us. We just have slightly different pick-up details for the two transport options.
If you’re returning via private vehicle, you’ll see a collection time on your e-ticket detailing when your driver will come to your accommodation. Please be ready 15 minutes before your pick-up time with your e-ticket ready to show the driver.
If you’re returning by shuttle bus, your pick-up time will be made available 24 hours before your flight home. You’ll find this online in the ‘My Bookings’ section of our website. Should there be no information about your transfer back to the airport within the 24-hour window, you can contact your provider on the number given on the e-ticket.
Whichever method of travel you’re using, if you have opted into receiving SMS text messages from us, we’ll send you a reminder. If your driver isn’t there at the designated time for your return journey, give us a call.
