If you’ve arranged your getaway to this magical corner of the Caribbean and just need to book your Barbados Airport transfers, allow hoppa to get you there. Our transfer providers offer a smooth trip to your accommodation and we’ll get you back in time for your flight home when you book your return journey with us too.
To arrange your Barbados Airport transfers with us, simply fill out your travel details in the boxes at the top of this page. When you’re ready, click on the ‘Search’ button and this will take you to a page listing the shuttle and private transfers available for your stay in the Caribbean.
Want some help with choosing from our range of private vehicles or our shuttle buses? Here’s an overview of what both options offer to help you make your decision:
To cost up your Barbados transfers, take a look at the prices listed next to each transport type available for your holiday. The price you’re given on the site is what you pay for your transport.
The amounts listed for the transport options available are live valuations, so they are subject to change based on the currency rates and resort pricing. So, if you return to your search at later date, the prices for your transfers might be slightly different to the ones given for your original search.
Once you select your preferred transport option, you will reach the ‘Extras’ stage of your booking. If you’ve opted for a private transfer, you’ll be given the opportunity to book in more luggage, such as golf bags or bicycles, for an additional charge.
Whether you’ve opted for a private airport taxi to your Barbados accommodation or you’re travelling via shuttle bus, one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage is allowed as standard. To bring more than this with you, you’ll need to book a private transfer and tell us how many extra bags you’ll be bringing. You’ll see the option to do this on the Extras page.
We’ll send an e-ticket to the email address you provide us with once you complete your booking. The e-ticket is a key document that includes important information about your transfers, such as pick-up information and the contact numbers you might need, so we recommend you read through this carefully before your flight.
We also advise that you print it off before you leave for the airport and have it ready for when you arrive in Barbados. Your e-ticket is also your booking confirmation and you can easily show it to the driver for both your inbound and outbound transfers when they ask to see it.
When you get to Barbados, make sure you check the instructions in the ‘Find my pick-up’ section of your e-ticket so you know where to go to find your travel representative.
The directions you’re given are based on your transport provider and whether you’re travelling by shuttle bus or private vehicle. The most common instructions direct passengers to the arrivals hall, where they’ll find a travel representative holding a sign displaying the transfer partner’s name.
Make sure you read through the ‘Find my pick-up’ section carefully. If you can’t see any information about your Barbados transfers or you can’t see your driver, call the number listed on your e-ticket to find out where you need to go or how long your driver will be.
If your flight is delayed getting into Barbados or your luggage is taking a while to arrive, call the number on your e-ticket to let us know. Your driver will wait for you for up to 45 minutes after your original pick-up time, but by calling us as soon as you know you’re running late, you’re giving us enough notice to arrange an alternative driver.
A new driver will be sent to you if you’re delayed over 45 minutes. For delays of more than three hours, you’ll need to rearrange your airport transfers in Barbados and contact your travel insurer.
Located just eight miles from Barbados’ capital, Grantley Adams International Airport is ideally placed for visitors to this Caribbean island. In the past it scored the hattrick, having been named the Caribbean’s Leading Airport at the World Travel Awards three years in a row.
Today, passengers can find everything from gift shops selling local treats, to eateries serving up hot dishes and quick snacks. There’s also a duty free store and even a spa where you can indulge in a soothing massage.
