Are you an animal lover planning your next adventure? There are very few places around the world where you can admire beautiful animals up close whilst relaxing on a dreamy beach, but, being the travel experts that we are, we have found a handful for you.Picture perfect, we are sure there is at least one destination below you will want to add to your bucketlist.  <h1>Pig Beach, Bahamas </h1><img alt='' src='https://www.hoppa.com/resource/blog/uploads/2017/06/pigbeach1.jpg' style='height:600px; width:1000px' />Pig Beach is an uninhabited island located in Exuma, the <a href='https://www.hoppa.com/en/caribbean/bahamas'>Bahamas</a>, and as the name suggests, it is populated by a colony of feral pigs. Hogging the shallow waters, the adorable swimming pigs relish welcoming tourists.How these pigs came to the Bahamas remains a mystery, although, locals suggest they are the survivors of a nearby private shipwreck but others believe they were dropped off by passing sailors who planned to come back and cook them but didn’t return. Living the highlife on this beautiful island, they have adapted to the beach lifestyle – it’s not only the celebrities that enjoy these crystal-clear water and sugar sands regularly.You can visit the island on a unique safari, stopping to explore over twenty little cays along the way. Often seen sticking their heads out of the water, these turtles are happy for you to swim beside them – they will even venture onto the beach for a picture if your lucky.Falling under the Endangered Species Act and under Hawaii state law which states it is illegal to chase, hunt, handle, injure or harass, the sea turtles enjoy full protection. You will often find a group of volunteers who kindly inform visitors about the turtles and highlight no-go zones to ensure they are not bothered.<img alt='' src='https://www.hoppa.com/resource/blog/uploads/2017/06/turtlebeach2.jpg' style='height:333px; width:500px' /> <h1>Flamingo Beach, Aruba</h1><img alt='' src='https://www.hoppa.com/resource/blog/uploads/2017/06/flamingobeach1-holidayguru.jpg' style='height:603px; width:1000px' />Probably the most Instagram’ed beach of the moment, Flamingo Beach is on privately owned Renaissance Island of Aruba. This artificial beach features two white sandy beaches and belongs to Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino.Adult only, Flamingo Beach is the perfect escape for couples looking to enjoy tasty cocktails in the quiet surroundings. Listen to the light winds rustle the palm trees as you enjoy the views (and a few pictures) with the pretty pink birds.Guests of the hotel can visit this paradise island with no extra costs, but non-guests must purchase a day pass. It is worth noting that the flamingos can move freely so you will need a little bit of luck, but even without the flamingos, the trip is worth it.<img alt='' src='https://www.hoppa.com/resource/blog/uploads/2017/06/flamingobeach2-nicoleisaacs.jpg' style='height:343px; width:500px' /><pre>Image Source: Nicole Isaacs</pre> <h1>Monkey Beach, Thailand</h1><img alt='' src='https://www.hoppa.com/resource/blog/uploads/2017/06/monkeybeach1.jpg' style='height:596px; width:1000px' />Monkey Beach is on the west coast of Ko Phi Phi Don island and as the name gives away, it is full of monkeys. You will find them monkeying around in the sea, roaming around on the beach and probably snatching a few unlucky visitors belongings.The monkeys live in the limestone mountains but after cleverly noticing that where there is people there is food, they are often seen on the beach. So, if you want to get up close for a picture, feel free to offer them a snack as they won’t hesitate to run over.There are many day trips and speed boats which stop off here as part of their tour but we recommend hiring a kayak. The journey will take around 30 to 40 minutes on a kayak and if you get there early you can avoid the crowds.<img alt='' src='https://www.hoppa.com/resource/blog/uploads/2017/06/monkeybeach4.jpg' style='height:375px; width:500px' /> <h1>Potcake Place Providenciales, Turks and Caicos</h1><img alt='' src='https://www.hoppa.com/resource/blog/uploads/2017/06/puppies1.jpg' style='height:667px; width:1000px' />A chain of beautiful Caribbean islands, Turks & Caicos is a dreamy destination famous for the sand, sea and sun. You probably think that this Caribbean paradise can’t be improved upon, but, thanks to Potcakes Palace, it can – well, the island of Providenciales can.A non-profit organisation, Potcake Place aims to reduce the number of homeless dogs on the island by rescuing them early and encouraging them to socialise. Much of this is done by voluntary staff, but, luckily for you they welcome visitors to help. The charity will provide you with food, toys and advice before leaving the dog with you for some TLC – we suggest a walk on the nearby beach. This is not only a lovely experience for dog lovers, but offers great benefits to the dog which will help it get adopted. With eyes you just can’t say no to, you may end up adopting one yourself…Wondering about the charity name? The Caribbean is known to be home to many stray dogs called Potcakes – a name which comes from the local’s custom to feed the canines the cakes food at the bottom of the cooking pot.<img alt='' src='https://www.hoppa.com/resource/blog/uploads/2017/06/puppies2.jpg' style='height:333px; width:500px' /> Been to or planning to visit any of these locations?
