Arrivals
Chambéry lands UK charters into one small arrivals hall. Clear the checks, take your cases off the carousel, then collect skis and boards from the oversized baggage belt behind it. Everything happens in one room. Your e-ticket lists your exact meeting point and a number to call if you cannot see your driver.
Private transfers
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall, a few paces past the barrier, holding a sign that shows your name or the 'hoppa' logo.
Coaches
Walk out to the coach bay beside the terminal, signed from the door. Follow the coach signs rather than the taxi ones.
Delays & Driver Info

Free waiting time
You get up to 60 minutes of free waiting after your flight lands. On an international arrival a 30-minute buffer is added before the waiting time starts, which covers the wait at the oversized belt for skis and boards.
Delayed, diverted or landing early?
Your driver tracks your flight from the moment you board. Lake fog and winter weather send Chambéry arrivals to Lyon or Geneva, and your driver knows before the hall does. They will contact you to reposition or rebook. A delayed flight simply moves your pick-up and there is nothing for you to do.

Can't find your driver?
Stay inside the arrivals hall and call the number on your e-ticket. hoppa's team picks up in an average of 11 seconds, a 99.7% call answer rate: a real person, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hoppa help centre answers most questions before you need to call.
What to do around Chambéry?
If your flight home is late in the day, the lake and the old town are both close enough to fill the gap.
- Lac du Bourget starts at the end of the runway, with Aix-les-Bains ten minutes north for the lakefront and the thermal baths.
- Chambéry old town is a quarter of an hour away, with the dukes' castle, the arcaded streets and the elephant fountain in the middle of it.
- The Bauges massif rises straight out of the lake behind the airport, and the road up to the Col du Granier is twenty minutes of hairpins with the whole valley underneath.
