Arrivals
Milan Bergamo has one passenger terminal. Clear passport control, collect your cases from the single reclaim hall, then walk straight out: arrivals here is small enough that there is only one place your driver can be. Ground transport all leaves from the apron outside the door. Your e-ticket names your driver and gives you a number to call.
Private transfers
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall, past the barrier, holding a sign that shows your name or the 'hoppa' logo.
Coaches
Walk out to the coach park on the apron, signed from the terminal door. Give your party size at booking so the right vehicle is there.
Delays & Driver Info
1
Free waiting time
You get up to 60 minutes of free waiting after your flight lands. On an international arrival a 30-minute buffer is added before the waiting time starts, which covers a single reclaim hall handing back the whole flight at once.
Delayed, diverted or landing early?
Your driver follows your flight from the moment you board. Winter fog on the Lombardy plain is the local hazard and occasionally sends an arrival to Malpensa or Verona. Your driver sees it before the hall does and will contact you to reposition or rebook. A delayed flight simply moves your pick-up, with nothing for you to do.

Can't find your driver?
Stay in the arrivals hall and call the number on your e-ticket. hoppa's team picks up in an average of 11 seconds, a 99.7% call answer rate: a real person, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hoppa help centre answers most questions before you need to call.
What to do around Bergamo?
If your flight home leaves late in the day, the town next to the airport repays an afternoon.
- Citta Alta sits behind Venetian walls on a hill, reached by a funicular, with the Piazza Vecchia and the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore at the top.
- The Accademia Carrara holds Raphael, Botticelli and Bellini in a quiet gallery in the lower town.
- The old walls themselves make a circular walk of about five kilometres, with the plain on one side and the Alps on the other.
