Arrivals
Barcelona lands you at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, on opposite sides of the runway. After passport control and baggage reclaim, follow the signs for the exit and look inside the hall, not out at the kerb. Your e-ticket lists your exact meeting point and a phone number to call if you cannot see your driver.
Private transfers
Your driver waits inside the arrivals hall of your terminal, past the barrier where the name boards line up, holding a sign with your name or the 'hoppa' logo.
Coaches
Walk to the coach bays outside your terminal, a short signed walk from arrivals. Follow the signs for coaches, not the taxi rank.
Delays & Driver Info

Free waiting time
You get up to 60 minutes of free waiting after your flight lands. On an international arrival a 30-minute buffer is added before the waiting time starts, which covers a long non-EU passport queue at Terminal 1.
Delayed, diverted or landing early?
Your driver tracks your flight from the moment you board. If a storm diverts you to Girona or Reus, they know before you land and will contact you to reposition or rebook. A delayed flight simply moves your pickup. There is nothing for you to do.

Can't find your driver?
Stay inside the arrivals hall and call the number on your e-ticket. hoppa's team picks up in an average of 11 seconds, a 99.7% call answer rate: a real person, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hoppa help centre answers most questions before you need to call.
What to do around Barcelona?
If you have time before your transfer or your flight home, the city and its two coasts reward an early start.
- The Sagrada Família, Park Güell and the Gothic Quarter are twenty minutes away and book out in summer, so reserve a slot before you land.
- Montserrat's monastery and cable car are an hour inland for a half-day in the mountains.
- Sitges is thirty minutes south for a swim and a seafront lunch before an evening flight.
