Phuket truly is an island paradise, with plenty of crystal-clear waters, soft sands and sun-kissed spots to enjoy. Many head to this Thai island to relax on its famous ‘Paradise Beach’ – a 1.5km stretch along the Andaman Sea. But it’s not just fantastic beaches on offer in Phuket, the buzzing nightlife, great shopping malls, vibrant culture and delicious local dishes make it a hugely popular holiday destination.
Phuket airport is the second busiest in Thailand, catering to more than 16 million passengers every year. When you land at Phuket aboard one of the 27,000 flights it welcomes annually, you’ll notice the quaint and charmingly compact setting immediately. The island of Phuket spans about 50km from north to south which is reflected in the size of the airport. Within a mere 10 minutes you’ll be in customs and ready to collect your luggage. But with such a small area for so many passengers - the taxi queues can get long.
To avoid spending your valuable time waiting in queues, book Phuket airport transfers with hoppa before you set off. We’ll be there ready and waiting when you land, so you can get out and start exploring this beautiful island. Not only this, but we compare our prices daily too - so you can rest assured you’re booking one of the cheapest airport transfers in Phuket with us.
We want to get your holiday off to the best start, which is why we’ve made booking Phuket airport transfers quick and easy. Simply enter your travel details into the boxes at the top of the page, including your drop-off location, pick-up date and time. Click ‘Search’ to check out the private and shuttle bus options that are available from the airport. Once you’ve found the best Phuket airport transfer for you, click the ‘Book now’ button.
Not sure which type of transfer to book? Here’s what you can expect from each option:
The cost of your Phuket airport transfers will depend on how far you are travelling, any optional extras you need and the type of vehicle you choose. To get a quote, enter your details at the top of the page and hit ‘Search’. You’ll see the price of each option down the right-hand side.
Please note, the prices you see today are live valuations and are therefore subject to change in line with resort pricing and currency rates. If you wait to book your transfer another day, the cost may change slightly. But rest assured, we compare our prices daily to ensure we offer some of the cheapest airport transfers in Phuket.
Once you’ve chosen whether you’d like a private or shared transfer, you’ll arrive at an ‘Extras’ part of your booking. This will give you important information on your baggage allowance, which is typically one item of carry-on and one hold suitcase per traveller. However, if you are travelling with additional luggage, such as suitcases, a wheelchair or golf clubs, you can add this onto your booking.
Yes, once you’ve booked your Phuket airport transfers online with hoppa, we’ll send an e-ticket to your email address. This is an important document containing information on your pick-up arrangements, such as your drop-off destination, pick-up time and number of passengers. It also has our emergency phone number in case you need to contact us.
We advise checking your e-ticket carefully before your departure date to make sure all the details are correct. It may be worth printing it off and popping it in your hand luggage so it’s easy to access. You’ll need to show it to your driver when you meet, so it’s important to have a copy on you.
On your e-ticket, there is a ‘Find my pick-up’ section which tells you where you need to meet the driver of your Phuket airport transfer. This may vary depending on the travel provider and the type of transport you’ve booked.
Usually, travellers arriving at the International Terminal will need to go to Gate 3-4 of the arrivals exit, where the driver will be holding a sign displaying either your name, the travel provider’s name or hoppa. Those arriving at the Domestic Terminal will usually find their driver at Gate 1 of the arrivals exit.
If you can’t find information on your e-ticket that states the pick-up time of your airport transfers in Phuket, then give us a call and we can help.
Occasionally, heavy traffic or road closures can make our drivers late to meet you at the arranged pick-up point. If this happens, please don’t panic. Give us a ring on the number on your e-ticket and we can update you on their progress.
If you think you will be late for your Phuket airport transfers, don’t worry. We know that delays are inevitable sometimes, for instance if your plane was delayed or your bags took a long time to arrive in baggage claim. If you think you will be late to meet your driver, please give us a call and we can pass the message on.
Your driver will wait for up to 45 minutes after the arranged meet time. Running later than that? We’ll send out another driver. However, please note that if you are delayed by more than three hours, you’ll need to rearrange your Phuket airport transfers with us and get in touch with your travel insurer.
If you have booked a return journey from your accommodation to the airport, you will be given your pick-up time 24 hours before your flight departure time. Those that opted in to receive texts from us will receive an SMS message with this information. Alternatively, you can find the information online via ‘My Bookings’ or by giving us a call. Please be at the arranged meeting point 10 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time so you are ready to go when the driver arrives.
There’s plenty to keep you occupied before you board your flight. Head to a restaurant for traditional Thai cuisine or choose from a range of International dishes. There’s plenty of cafes and bars too if you’d like a light snack and a drink. You can also hit the shops for some souvenirs or head to duty free to take advantage of great value alcohol, perfumes, cosmetics and more.
