Bodrum Transfers, Taxis & Shuttles
Bodrum is Turkey’s seaside haven and harmonises the traditional with modern, evident from its grand 15th century castle, to the glittering marina. Homer described Bodrum as "The land of eternal blue" because of its dazzling azure-like waters in the Gulf of Goköva. Formerly known as Halicarnassus of Caria, Bodrum is home to the Myndos Gate, the Roman theatre, and was once home to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Mausoleum of Mausolus, now in ruins. More of the town’s history can be found at the Castle of St Peter which houses the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, and hosts various cultural festivals throughout the year. Yachters can enjoy stunning views of the castle, which is surrounded by two small bays.
