Arrivals
SFO has four terminals arranged in a horseshoe connected by the free AirTrain (Red and Blue lines, every 4 minutes, 24/7). First-time arrivals from Asia often expect their pickup to be where their bags land — it is not. Take the lift or escalator down one level to Centre Island Level 2.
Where to meet your driver
Level 2 Centre Island of your arrival terminal — the designated pre-arranged transportation zone. From baggage reclaim, follow signs for “Ground Transportation — Pre-Arranged” (not Taxi). Your driver holds a sign with your name printed on it.
Skip the Level 1 taxi rank
Do not go to kerbside Level 1 — that is the metered taxi rank, not your pickup point. International arrivals collect bags on Level 3 (Customs), then come down one level to Level 2 to meet the driver.
Delays & Driver Info
1
Free waiting time
60 minutes after a domestic landing, 90 minutes (60 + 30 buffer) on international arrivals — long enough to clear US customs at the International Terminal even on a heavy bag day.
Flight diverted or terminal changed?
If SFO issues a marine-layer ground delay or your terminal changes mid-flight, your driver tracks the flight and the operator reassigns the pickup automatically. Your booking does not break.
?
Can’t see your driver?
Stay on Level 2 and call the number on your e-ticket rather than wandering. hoppa’s team answers in an average of 11 seconds, 24/7 — a real person, not a chatbot. The dispatcher can put your driver back on the line or redirect to another bay.
