Bayahibe , located just east of Casa de Campo, is reached over a hilly drive with striking views through the Boca de Chaon Valley. The small fishing village is surrounded by a few large vacation resorts and provides one of the entrances to the Parque Nacional del Este and Isla Soana.
The public beach, Bayahibe Beach, is located less than a mile from the town center. Bayahibe serves as an embarkation point for boat tours to the thinly inhabited island, Saona Island, with extensive beaches located in a national park.
