Bali is situated on the rugged northern coast of Crete. This former fishing village is overlooked by Mount Kouloukoanas and is home to a number of picturesque little bays. Despite its ever increasing popularity, Bali has retained its rustic Greek charm over the centuries and remains unchanged by tourism. The resort is home to a large number of quaint, colourful holiday homes and villas situated side by side with the homes of friendly locals.

Bali is steeped in rich, fascinating cultural history. The 17th Century monastery of Agios Ioannis Prodromos is one of the must see spots in the town. For an easygoing way to get around, take the slow paced mini train which travels through the town. This leisurely locomotive stops off at all the main spots of interest, from the beach to the restaurants and cafés. There are several traditional tavernas throughout Bali. However, if you’re looking for a livelier nightlife then Crete’s capital city, Heraklion, is just a 50 minute drive away, with excellent public transport links.

At hoppa we can help you to enjoy this incredible destination without the stress and hassle of finding transport from the crowded Heraklion Airport. Make sure you book your Bali transfers before you travel to save time and money.
