<b>Kaliningrad</b>, formerly known as Königsberg city sutuated in western Russia, on the Pregolya River. The capital of Kaliningrad Oblast, it is a major industrial and commercial center, connected by channel with Baltiysk, an ice-free port on the Baltic Sea.
