Beyazit (Fatih/Istanbul)

Beyazıt is a district on the European side of Istanbul where the Beyazıt Mosque and Beyazıt Tower also stand, along with the Rectorate of Istanbul University. The district is formed around the Beyazıt Square, which was known as the Forum Tauri in the Roman period.

Built from 1500 to 1505 under Sultan Beyazit II, the Beyazit Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Istanbul. It is located next to Istanbul University and the Grand Bazaar in the center of a large 16th-century complex that includes schools and other buildings.

Hoppa offers low cost transfers in Beyazıt and the surrounding areas.
