Arrivals
When you land at HNL, follow signs from baggage claim to the ground transportation area outside the overseas terminal, where your hoppa driver meets you with a name sign. The inter-island terminal is a short shuttle ride from the overseas terminal.
Where to meet your driver
Your hoppa driver waits in the ground transportation area outside the overseas terminal baggage claim, holding a sign with your name. Take the exit marked for ground transportation, not the taxi rank or the parking structure. Look for your named driver at the kerb, not a general taxi queue.
Do not head to level 2
Do not head to the second-level rideshare zone looking for your driver — that area is only for Uber and Lyft. Your named hoppa driver comes to you at ground level. Check the plate against your e-ticket before you get in.
Delays & Driver Info
1
Free waiting time
60 minutes after your flight lands, plus a 30-minute international buffer that covers the customs and baggage wait at HNL’s overseas terminal (15 minutes on point-to-point pickups).
Flight delayed or diverted?
Your driver tracks the flight in real time, so they already know. If your flight diverts to an inter-island connection or your terminal changes, your driver adjusts — no extra charge inside the free wait.

Can’t see your driver?
Call the number on your e-ticket before joining any taxi line — hoppa’s team answers in an average of 11 seconds, 24 hours a day, a real person, not a chatbot.
