Kenosha (WI)

Kenosha is a city in and the county seat of Kenosha County, United States. The city lies on the southwestern shore of Lake Michigan.
The greater Kenosha area has attracted archeological interest since the discovery of pre-Clovis culture settlements in the late 20th century. These prehistoric settlements date approximately to the era of the Wisconsin glaciation.
Kenosha has 21 locations and three districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places including the Library Park, Third Avenue, and the Civic Center historic districts.
