Las Vegas Strip Hotels

They say “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”- but a trip to the famous “Strip” in sin city is certainly one you’ll want to write home about! Of course, Las Vegas has a whole host of indulgence for visitors to enjoy- from the glitz and glamour of shows and concerts, to the infamous gambling scene and some of the world’s most opulent and lavish hotels. Whether it’s business or pleasure that brings you to Las Vegas, travelling around town couldn’t be easier as there are many transport options on the strip. From trams to buses, and even a monorail, Las Vegas is easy to get around, even for pedestrians with its purposeful wide pavements. Thanks to Vegas’s desert positioning and subtropical climate, the weather is warm and dry most of the year, reaching a very pleasant 35 degree high during the summer months and with very few rainy days.

The Las Vegas strip, just over 4 miles long and home to some of the world’s largest and most famous hotels and casinos. With its theatrical lights, dramatic architecture and breath-taking metropolitan views, the strip is spectacular. The impressive hotels are landmarks in their own right, from Caesar's Palace to the Bellagio, as well as Las Vegas’s own unmistakable version of the Eiffel Tower and The High Roller- the world’s largest observation wheel. There’s plenty to see and do if you’re not into Casinos, too, from a magnificent shopping scene to a wealth of eating options to suit all budgets.

If entertainment is what you’re looking for, there couldn’t be a better place in the world to find it than ‘fabulous Las Vegas’- from circus shows to cabaret, magic to music, there’s something on offer for everyone along the strip. Famed for over the top, immersive shows, world renowned Las Vegas shows will not disappoint and certainly won’t be forgotten. If you’re lucky, you may even spot and Elvis (or two) paroling the strip!

If you fancy taking a trip outside of the city, visitors should not forget that Nevada is home to the Grand Canyon and some of the most beautiful desert parks in the world. Though a few hours away, for a day trip and a break from the bright lights of the city, the Canyon is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a must visit if you’re in the area. A little closer is the Red Rock Canyon conservation area, just 20 minutes from the Strip, which showcases some stunning rock formations, desert plants and wildlife- including tortoises!
