KASANE

Kasane is the extreme Northernmost city in Botswana. This small town is near the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, where the international borders of 4 countries meet: Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. From Kasane, one can take the ferry across the River to Zambia.

However, the city is also notable for being the gateway to Chobe National Park, one of Africas premiere game parks. Consequently, Kasane has several hotels and accomodations, including many of the best in Botswana. Great place to begin a safari.
