Stavros

17km north east of Chania, at the northernmost edge of Cape Akrotiri, is the seaside village of Stavros. Set against a stunning backdrop of a steep camel-shaped mountain that rises opposite Stavros Harbour, in 1964 when Stavros was still a tiny fishing village the famous scene from the film ‘Zorba the Greek’ was recorded here. Why not book your hoppa transfers today from Chania Airport to Stavros and you can be relaxing on the beach and soaking up the atmpsphere in this beautiful town sooner than you think.

The main beach of Stavros lies to the east of the village, at the foot of the mountain, right next to the picturesque harbour. The circular, lagoon-like bay is protected from the wind and boasts soft white sand and shallow blue water, ideal for families and couple looking to relax. Stavros’ second beach is located to the north of the village, and is a combination of sand and rocks, but with its higher waves and stronger winds it’s ideal for water sports.

When you arrive in Greece allow hoppa to take charge of your Stavros transfers for a smooth and reliable transition from Chania Airport to your accommodation so you can spend more time and money enjoying your holiday.
